VLG Studios and the perfect wildlife art prints

Let’s start with the best locations where a wildlife photographer can get the maximum inspiration. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Alaska: If you want to venture into the wild to click some amazing pictures then here is another place which is a must visit for you. With the rugged mountains, dynamic glaciers, temperate rain falls, Glacier National park is the best for wildlife photography. Whether it’s the vivid wildlife or the Glacier Bay this region has a lot to offer. One can find the rarest glacier blue bear at Glacier Bay. This place is also home to a large bear population, both brown and black. Also, clicks some of the best shots of the endangered humpback whale, orcas, threatened stellar sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters and porpoises.

Finland: Wolverines have an almost mythical reputation, so rare is it to see them in the wild. But we have a tour operator with a secret, one that takes you to a remote woodland cabin where baiting, an admittedly controversial practise, has led to daily visits from wolverines and a very good chance of seeing them from nearby hides. Camera traps, thermal imaging and night vision may all be employed but much of the time you’ll be either in a hide or a vehicle, with little walking involved.

I hope to be able to produce at least 24 paintings in 24 hours and all of the originals produced during the 24 hours will be given to the highest donators who have donated more than £30, with the most generous donator getting first choice and so on. My theme for the event is African wildlife and as many of you know, I do love to paint big cats, so there will be some big cats in the originals produced on the day. You can follow me live as I complete my paintathon challenge as I will be doing live video feeds via facebook and Instagram throughout the 24 hours and posting regularly on both with updates on my progress Facebook @Vanessa.Grundy.Artist Instagram @vlgstudios. And of course, you can follow my progress and find out more on here. Discover even more information on Wildlife Pet Portraits.

Supporting conservation programmes through my art and products! I have recently launched my first products that are supporting conservation programmes worldwide! I have wanted to make this move for a long time but unfortunately hadn’t gotten around to it. As I come to the end of my BSc Degree in Wildlife Conservation I wanted to make this shift at the start of this year, and so from this year forward, every product I launch will in some way be supporting charities, projects, or campaigns that are rescuing animals from hurtful human activities, campaigning to improve national and international government wildlife or environmental-based policies, and those that are allowing wildlife and their environments to thrive through their efforts!

?In my artwork, I try to focus on capturing the expressions or emotions of an individual. My new course is both fascinating and enlightening, as it has enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the animals I love to paint and draw. Giraffes are highly sociable and very interested in what we are up to, especially when it involves food! Over the past seven years, I have exhibited my work and entered into recognised competitions within the UK. See additional info at www.vlgstudios.com.
