Remove Panels: A visual inspection will determine how the middle cubicle panels are attached to the outer panels. Once this is noted, remove fastenings, like screws and levers, from the outer panels first. Remove the middle panels last. A ladder is useful when dismantling the upper panels. When cubicle panels are bolted to connector rails on the floor, a wrench will loosen them. In panels that lack a bolt, pry the panels off the rail with a screwdriver. Tap with a rubber hammer if the panels fail to budge. Continue the process until all cubicles are disassembled. Crews from Callcenterexpress handle all types and sizes of office goods, including cubicle panels, with care. Our priority is to prevent damage to furniture and equipment. We also ensure sensitive company information, including confidential documents and paperwork, is kept secure.

An important factor many people overlook is the distance of the move. If you are relocating to a new home in-town or just a short distance away, you may feel comfortable estimating your truck needs on the low end. After all, you can always make two trips if you run out of truck space. On the other hand, if you are making a long distance move, it is not practical to make multiple trips. Estimating on the higher end may be beneficial. If you get in a bind, you can always rent a trailer to tow behind your car for additional space. The steps that you take to prepare for moving day can make or break your overall moving experience. Apply these tips to estimate better the truck size that is suitable for your needs. While using a truck rental company’s estimate when selecting the right size of truck or trailer to rent may be helpful, keep in mind that this is merely an estimate. Some people have much more substantial furnishings, more things, and tons of stuff crammed into every closet and cabinet. Other packrats even have entire garages jam-packed with items from floor to ceiling. A smart way to better estimate a suitable truck size is to attempt to cluster your things together, such as in an unused formal dining room, a garage or another large space. This effort also helps you prep for the move. When you pack a place full of items and measure the area, you will have a better idea about the right truck size for your needs.

I always suggest going around your home and taking photos of your valuables and breakables before they get packed up. If for any reason things get broken, damaged or lost during the moving process, at least you have a record of them. (Just quick snaps on the camera on your mobile phone will be good enough). TIP – It’s worth doing this anyway for things in your house, as it can help with insurance claims if you get burgled or there’s a fire etc.. – I use the home inventory in my Home File for this. Once the moving date is confirmed, make a start on packing as soon as you can. Get together a plan of action with a room by room checklist of how you will pack along with all of the packing material you’ll need.

If you can, show up to your new home before the move and pre-clean the bathroom and kitchen. Put up a new shower curtain liner and stock some new bath towels and toilet paper, as well. You’ll want to take a hot shower after a long day of moving. If you own items that you want to get rid of but are too valuable to just give away, start selling on eBay, Etsy, or Craigslist at least six weeks before moving. It’s an easy way to make you feel like you aren’t procrastinating, and you might be able to make enough money back to pay for the entire move itself. But it takes time for things to sell on Etsy and eBay, so you’ll want to plan accordingly.

Decluttering before you sell means that you only move what you really need – and you will not only save money by doing so, but you will also save time in the new house by not having to unpack and deal with all that stuff in the future. Your current home works for you – without really having to think about things anymore. You have the right flooring, furniture, window dressings etc. that fit your lifestyle. However, when you move you may have agreed to leave certain things in the house such as curtains, freezer etc… As such, it’s worth making a list of these things, remembering to leave them behind and not pack them (put a sticker on things that the removals company shouldn’t touch to be safe). You don’t want to end up moving only to find you have brought something with you that you shouldn’t have! Most truck rental agencies will provide you with the amount their trucks can hold measured in cubic feet. One cubic foot essentially means the volume of a cube whose sides are all 1 foot long. They use this type of measurement to ensure every inch of available space is considered, meaning the space from the floor of the truck’s bed to the ceiling, back to front. Now, most people won’t be using every available inch only because it’s almost impossible to load and pack a truck so well that there are no empty spaces. Because of this, always opt for a slightly larger truck than what you think you need.

Due to the high price tag of cubicles of all types, from freestanding to panel-based, moving the partitions should be done carefully to avoid physical damage. Fortunately, these workstations are flexible and designed to be assembled and disassembled relatively easily. Cubicles feature several internal components, such as springs, rods, levers, screws, latches, and connector rails. The various parts inside the cubicle walls should be individually addressed, otherwise reassembling the cubicles in the new office space will be an insurmountable challenge.
